13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is a science-fiction mystery from Vanillaware, the studio behind Odin Sphere and Dragon's Crown, published by Atlus. Thirteen young people living in different eras of Japan are caught up in a coming catastrophe tied to giant robots called Sentinels, and their stories connect with one another.
The game has two parts: a 2D side-scrolling adventure in Vanillaware's hand-drawn style, where you uncover the thirteen linked storylines in the order you choose, and real-time strategy battles viewed from above against waves of kaiju, with Sentinels customised before each fight.
