ARK: Survival Ascended is Studio Wildcard's full recreation of the definitive dinosaur survival experience, rebuilt from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5. Players awaken on a mysterious island filled with primordial creatures, where the goal is to form a tribe, tame and breed hundreds of dinosaurs, and craft and build their way to the top of the food chain.
The remaster brings next-generation lighting and reflections, an all-new physics system with dynamic water and destructible foliage, improved creature pathfinding, a redesigned interface, and full cross-platform mod support. Beyond the original Island map, players can explore additional free content maps including Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, and both parts of Genesis, with support for up to 70 players on official servers.
