The third and final chapter of the original Donkey Kong Country trilogy sends Dixie Kong out to rescue Donkey and Diddy after the Kremlings strike again. This time she's joined by her young cousin Kiddy Kong, and together the pair explore a brand-new stretch of the island filled with swamps, factories and frosty peaks. Rare's signature pre-rendered visuals and layered soundtrack are on full display, giving this late-era SNES release some of the most polished platforming on the system.
Beyond the main adventure, the game is packed with secrets, bonus areas and a web of hidden Bonus Coins that unlock extra content once collected. Dixie and Kiddy each bring their own physical quirks to the puzzle-platforming, encouraging players to swap between them on the fly. It's a fitting send-off for the trilogy and a must-have for any Super Nintendo collection.
