Evil Dead: The Game is an asymmetric multiplayer survival-horror title set in the Evil Dead film and TV franchise, developed by Saber Interactive and published by Boss Team Games. Bruce Campbell voices Ash Williams, with much of the original film and TV cast reprising their roles, and a score from series composers Joseph LoDuca and Steve Molitz. The game released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Matches pit a team of up to four Survivors, drawn from four classes (Leader, Warrior, Hunter, Support), against a single Demon player (or an AI-controlled Demon in co-op). Survivors explore a map, gather Necronomicon pages and the Kandarian Dagger, perform a ritual, and then defend the book through a timed final phase. The Demon player chooses from five demon types, can possess objects, vehicles, mobs, or a downed Survivor, lay traps, and summon Deadites to stop the Survivors before time runs out. The game includes 25+ weapons, including Ash's chainsaw and boomstick, per-character leveling and skill trees, and single-player Missions that unlock characters and lore through collectible Knowby Tapes.
Post-launch content added characters from Evil Dead (2013) and Ash vs Evil Dead, a battle-royale-style Splatter Royale mode, and a Who's Your Daddy DLC pack. Live content support for the game ended in 2023.
