Final Fantasy Resonance brings the series into the HD-2D style for the first time, pairing rich pixel-art characters with modern lighting and cinematic camera angles, now playable at home or on the go on Nintendo Switch. Set in the world of Lapis, it retells the first arc of Final Fantasy Brave Exvius as a complete console RPG, as Rain and his airship squadron set out to guard the last crystals after the Earth Crystal is destroyed. Turn-based battles reward strategy: exploit weaknesses to stagger foes, gain extra turns and trigger Resonance attacks. Visions of legendary series heroes join your party with unique abilities, and the world is packed with chocobos, espers, airships and optional challenges like Gilgamesh, the Colosseum and Ultima Weapon. Note: this is the original Switch version, separate from the Switch 2 release.
