GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE- is Arc System Works' flagship fighting game, continuing the long-running Guilty Gear saga. Set against a backdrop of political intrigue, the story follows Sol Badguy and a cast of soldiers, mercenaries and magic-users as a world peace summit is thrown into chaos by the mysterious Happy Chaos and the search for the Tome of Origin.
The roster features over 30 playable characters, each built around a distinct fighting style, from aggressive rushdown to patient zoning and grappling. Strive's signature Wall Break system lets a strong combo blast an opponent through the stage into a new arena, keeping high-level exchanges readable for players and spectators alike.
This Nintendo Switch Edition brings the full Strive experience to a portable format, including previously released downloadable characters and story content, multi-language text support, and a free unlock of guest fighter Queen Dizzy. Online play is supported, though cross-platform matches with other versions of Guilty Gear -Strive- are not available.
