Heretic + Hexen bundles two dark-fantasy first-person shooter classics from the Doom engine era. In Heretic, a lone cleric battles the sorcerer D'Sparil's armies through gothic, magic-infused realms; in Hexen, four distinct heroes face the god Korax across a connected, hub-based world where levels loop back on themselves as the story unfolds.
Combat blends ranged and melee weapons with elemental magic items, inventory-based consumables, and environmental puzzles rarely seen in shooters of their era. This Nightdive Studios remaster rebuilds both games on the modern KEX engine, adding widescreen support, 4K visuals, up to 120fps performance, and every expansion released for the original games.
The remaster also includes two brand-new episodes made exclusively for this release. This physical PS5 edition is a numbered, Limited Run Games print run.
