Left Alive is a survival action shooter set in 2127 in Novo Slava, a city on the eastern European border that comes under invasion. The story is told through three different protagonists who are trying to survive in the war zone.
Players face armed troops, armoured vehicles and large mechs (Wanzers), avoiding or outmanoeuvring the enemy with stealth, crafted items and scavenged weapons. Toshifumi Nabeshima directed the game, Yoji Shinkawa designed the characters and Takayuki Yanase designed the mechs.
The PAL retail release is the Day One Edition, which includes a DLC pack with bonus items such as an ammo pack, light body armour, a recovery pack and an exclusive weapon.
