MIO: Memories in Orbit is a hand-painted Metroidvania from French studio Douze Dixièmes, creators of Shady Part of Me, published by Focus Entertainment. You play as MIO, a small and agile robot who awakens aboard the Vessel, a vast derelict ark drifting through space whose caretaker AIs have long since fallen into decay. Explore an interconnected world of overgrown machinery and forgotten secrets, unlocking new traversal abilities that open up previously unreachable areas. Combat is precise and demanding, featuring challenging bosses and upgrades that let you tailor MIO to your playstyle. A striking watercolour-inspired art style and a melancholic soundtrack bring every corner of the ship to life as you uncover what happened to the Vessel and those who once lived on it.
