NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139... is a modern rebuild of the 2010 cult-classic action RPG, made for the series' 10th anniversary with Square Enix and developer Toylogic (with support from original team members). It follows a young man searching for a cure to save his sister from a fatal illness known as the Black Scrawl, in a story that unfolds differently on repeat playthroughs.
This version reworks the combat to feel closer to NieR: Automata, adding seamless weapon and magic switching, lock-on targeting, and quick weapon swapping, while keeping the original's music, characters, and multiple-ending structure intact.
