Onimusha: Way of the Sword returns to a dark fantasy feudal Japan, the first new mainline entry in the series in nearly two decades. Playing as the samurai Miyamoto Musashi, wielder of the mystical Oni Gauntlet, you cut a bloody path through Malice-corrupted Edo-period Kyoto, battling the demonic Genma that have overrun the historic capital. This Premium Deluxe Edition ships in a collectible steelbook case and bundles the Premium Kit (Oni Lady and Okuni outfits, haori cloaks, and five in-game-playable soundtrack pieces) with the Deluxe Kit (a Musashi outfit, sword-appearance skins, charms, and an Oni Gauntlet skin).
Musashi's search for his reason to fight takes him through gritty, blood-soaked duels against rivals who match his skill and monstrosities dragged up from the underworld. Kyoto's shrines and temples, including Kiyomizu-dera, take on an eerie, twisted appearance under the encroaching Malice, giving every stage its own sense of mystery and danger.
