Sifu is a third-person action game built around kung fu. You play a young martial arts student hunting down the five assassins who killed your family, working through the city's underworld one hideout at a time, from a squat and a nightclub to a gallery and an office tower.
Combat focuses on Pak Mei-inspired hand-to-hand fighting with parries, dodges, structure breaks and improvised weapons picked up from the environment. A magic pendant revives you each time you fall, but every death ages you, so your age and remaining lives carry through the whole run. The Switch version includes the Arenas expansion, with 15 locations, 5 game modes and 120 challenges.
