The House of the Dead 2: Remake brings SEGA's classic arcade light-gun shooter back to modern hardware, dropping players into a zombie-ravaged city after a bioweapon unleashes a horde of flesh-hungry monsters. Players take control of AMS special agents James Taylor and Gary Stewart as they fight their way through infected streets, sewers, and a besieged cathedral to track down the source of the outbreak.
The remake preserves the original's fast, on-rails arcade shooting while rebuilding every environment, character model, and lighting effect from the ground up. Rapid-fire waypoint movement, weapon upgrades, and branching paths reward quick reflexes and accurate aim, and the game supports two-player co-op for tackling the outbreak together.
This Limited Edition physical release, published by Microids, packages the PS5 disc with exclusive bonus items not included in the standard digital or retail edition.
