The Relic: First Guardian is a dark fantasy action RPG in the soulslike style, with a story inspired by Asian mythology and folklore. As one of the First Guardians, you fight to stop a blight that has spread across the once-peaceful land of Arsiltus.
The game features more than 70 demanding boss fights, five weapon types and twelve skill trees. Stamina is only used for blocking and dodging, while skills run on cooldowns. There are no traditional character levels: you grow stronger by collecting Relics, memories that grant passive effects.
The boxed PS5 edition includes a physical map of Arsiltus and download codes for The Night of the Unextinguished Flame and The Black Banquet add-ons.
