This double feature bundles two 16-bit-style horror games built on classic slasher IP. In Halloween, players take control of Michael Myers as he stalks through Haddonfield and a series of nightmarish, hell-touched levels drawn from the original film's iconography. In Ash vs Evil Dead, players instead become Ash Williams, battling Deadite hordes and the forces unleashed by the Necronomicon across the STARZ television series' twisted, overlapping dimensions.
Both games are 16-bit pixel-art action platformers built around brute-force combat: Michael Myers relies on brutal melee weapons, while Ash wields his signature chainsaw and boomstick. Each title layers in platforming, hidden relics and collectibles, unlockable power-ups, and online leaderboards, and the two games connect with one another so that owning both unlocks bonus abilities and achievements not available when playing either game alone.
Developed by WayForward and published by Nighthawk Interactive, the Double Feature packages both full games together in one release for a single price, rather than requiring them to be purchased separately.
