Fairy Tail 2 is an action RPG based on Hiro Mashima's Fairy Tail manga and a sequel to Koei Tecmo's 2020 Fairy Tail game. It covers the final arc of the story, in which the Fairy Tail guild faces the Alvarez Empire led by Emperor Spriggan and the black dragon Acnologia.
Battles are fought in real time with a party of guild wizards, switching between characters such as Natsu, Lucy, Gray and Erza and chaining their magic attacks. Building up gauges unlocks powerful Unison Raids and Awakening transformations, and the game also includes an original episode written for it.
