Final Fantasy Type-0 HD brings Square Enix's darker, war-driven entry in the Final Fantasy series to PlayStation 4, remastered in high definition from the 2011 PSP original. Set in the land of Orience, the story follows Class Zero, fourteen cadets of the Vermilion Peristylium who are thrown into battle when the Militesi Empire launches a brutal invasion. Combat is fast and action-based, letting you switch between three active party members, each with a distinct weapon and fighting style, from playing cards and flutes to scythes and pistols. The HD version adds upgraded character models, rebuilt environments, a remastered soundtrack and improved camera controls. Developed by Square Enix with HexaDrive, it is a mature, emotional story about sacrifice, loyalty and the true cost of war.
