Pikmin 1 + 2 brings the first two Pikmin games, originally released on GameCube, to Nintendo Switch in HD. In Pikmin, Captain Olimar crash-lands on an unknown planet and has 30 days to recover his ship's missing parts before his life support runs out. In Pikmin 2, Olimar returns with his co-worker Louie to collect treasure and pay off their company's debt.
You command a squad of small plant-like Pikmin, each colour with its own abilities, to fight creatures, clear obstacles and carry objects back to base. Days are time-limited, so you have to plan how to divide your Pikmin between tasks. Pikmin 2 adds a second captain to switch between, multi-floor caves to explore and two-player modes, and both games support optional motion controls.
