Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition is Capcom's revised version of its 2016 fighting game, built around the long-running Street Fighter roster of World Warriors battling for supremacy in tournaments held across the globe. It folds the base game's story content together with a dedicated arcade experience modeled on the series' coin-op roots.
The headline addition is a true Arcade Mode absent from the original release, offering six character-specific ladders based on past Street Fighter games and over 200 possible endings. Every returning fighter also gains a second V-Trigger option, selectable alongside the original V-Trigger on the character select screen for added strategic depth, and a new bonus stage tasks players with smashing barrels as they fall past the screen. Extra Battle Mode and the returning Team Battle Mode round out the additional content.
This edition launched with all 28 original characters plus prior DLC fighters, and by the end of its final season the roster had grown to 45 characters with additions such as Falke, G, Sagat, Cody, and the shape-shifting Eleven.
