From the creators of OCTOPATH TRAVELER and BRAVELY DEFAULT, The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is Square Enix's latest HD-2D title, blending pixel-art characters with 3D environments in a real-time action RPG rather than the studio's usual turn-based combat. Elliot and his fairy companion Faie set out from the walled Kingdom of Huther after the discovery of mysterious ruins, journeying across four ages of the continent of Philabieldia to unravel a thousand-year mission.
Elliot fights with seven customizable weapon types, from swords to chain-and-sickle combos, while Faie contributes offensive and support magic both in and out of combat, including retrieving items from places Elliot can't reach. A two-player co-op mode lets a second player take control of Faie directly.
