Set in February 2000, THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD 2: Remake follows AMS agents James Taylor and Gary Stewart as they storm a city overrun by genetically modified zombies. The outbreak echoes the horror of the Curien Mansion incident two years earlier, and the two agents must fight their way through infested streets to uncover who — or what — is responsible this time.
This is a faithful on-rails remake of the 1998 arcade classic, rebuilt with modern graphics while keeping the original's arcade-style pacing and challenge. Play solo or in local co-op through Campaign Mode, test your skills against major bosses in the dedicated Boss Mode, or hone your aim in Training Mode. The game features multiple endings, branching level paths, and a remastered soundtrack that can be swapped back to the original score at any time.
This physical Nintendo Switch release is the Limited Edition (also sold as the "Infect'Edition"), the only physical version of the game published for the platform.
